Re: New 48 Scale Sepecat Jaguar
This looks a great kit, from what I can find on the internet, is there a scheduled release date yet.
I currently have the Airfix 1/48 Jaguar, which I was going to build as part of my grand idea to produce a 1/48th collection of RAF arctic camo. But I may have to hold out until this is released, and hope the price is reasonable.
Is the kit going to be a bit of standard plastic, resin and photoetch?

It's designed by the same person that did the proposed Trumpeter 1/32 version, but it's only in the French Jaguar A standard at the moment as far as I can tell.

Looks very nice indeed, hope the 1:32 beast still sees the light of day though! Well when they've done this surely a T-Bird and a GR have to follow, great stuff!

Don't think the 1/32 version will appear now, especially from Trumpeter as the the designer now works for Kitty Hawk although I suppose they might release it.

To be fair it's the 1:32 version I'm really looking forward to. While a little long in the tooth the Airfix 1:48 version isn't bad at all and builds up rather nicely with a bit of resin and work.

I would like to think the 32nd scale kit is not dead and buried but I have my suspicions now.
I do actually wonder how this will compare to the new italeri release later this year/next year?
