Scott's 2012
In modelling terms, what started out as a good year came to a dead stop with the arrival of our second daughter. Hopefully 2013 will see the breakout of the modelling toolbox again.
First one finished this year
1/48 T-6A Texan II, Hellenic AF
followed by
1/48 F-16C Blk52+, Hellenic AF
and finally
1/48 F-16C Blk50, Hellenic AF

James' builds
I started the year off by finishing off my Christmas build:
1/32 Academy F/A-18C Hornet – with Airies cockpit and Burner Cans
Next up, this nearly killed me but I got there int eh end – cannot say I am that happy with it but anyway:
1/32 Whirlybird/Trumpter EE Lightning T5 Conversion, LTF, circa 1986
Something a bit easier next, in fact a 4 day build....
1/48 Scale Airfix Westland Augusta Lynx HMA.8
Followed by a Tornado F3,
1/48 Scale Italeri Tornado F3, 43 Squadon, circa 2008
Followed by another, this time by Hobbyboss
1/48 Scale Hobbyboss Tornado F3, 111 Squadron, Circa 2007
Another smaller airframe – big lesson from this, 1:72 is too small!
1/72 Scale Airfix BAe Harrier GR7/9 – “Lucy”
Back onto the larger scale, this time with a commission build;
1/32 Scale Academy F-16I Sufa (resin EVERYWHERE!)
Followed by another big scale one, this time for me:
1/32 Scale Trumpeter MIG-21MF, Egyptian Airforce, Cutting Edge Cockpit, aftermarket decals
Something different for me to build, the superb Hobbyboss F-84G kit, Dutch Decals included as a Target Tug option
1/32 Scale Hobbyboss F-84G, Dutch Air Force
Another Commission build, now gone to its new home, undercarriage repaired!
1/32 ScaleTrumpter Mig-23 Flogger B, Airies Burner Can, Aires Cockpit
I also did build a 1/72 Scale A-400M for a magazine review but never uploaded any shots anywhere
I still have in the pile to build
Something big and two engine (sorry can’t give any clues away here and can’t post as it is for a magazine)
Something rotor driven and for a magazine (German Cat, nuff said)
1/48 EE Lightning, Saudi Air Force
1/48 MIG 29 UB,
all to complete for the end of the year!

Some superb builds! I feel suitably shamed! 2012's builds have consisted of a Tornado F3 and a Typhoon. I've added more than I've built with the stash!
