The "STASH"
Its a recent phenomenon to me. Last time i made a model (about 1980!) I only bought one if i was going to make it right away, I didn't have the luxury, space or income to hoard things i wanted to make in the future. Now i must have about ten or twelve waiting for me to get on with. Speaking to other modellers i understand that this is quite modest to say the least - some have hundreds!
I don't expect you to list EVERYTHING but what do you have that you consider to be the most interesting kit waiting in your stash?
As you may have gathered i like the oddball stuff, without going into the attic room to check i have
The Hobyboss Berkut
and the Bronco V1
There are more but i can't be arsed to go look!

Re: The "STASH"
I also was confused by this stash people were talking about when i got back into the hobby - i don't have enough room for the models nevermind lots of boxes of unbuilt ones!! But......I seem to now have the beginnings of one myself!! Very modest but I have now got the grand total of 2 kits in the stash and one ongoing!
First stash kit is the Airfix 1/48 navy Lynx which I spotted on Amazon for £16 so couldn't afford not to get it! I had fully intended to build this straight away but upon opening the box I decided I might need a little more practice to do it justice.
Secondly a trip to the local model shop on payday coincided with the day when they were reducing all their kits to near internet prices and ended up with me buying a Revell FA-18F Super Hornet in 1/48. Being just about my favourite plane I want to go a bit to town on this so am looking for aftermarket seats and possibly burner cans which i haven't found yet.

Re: The "STASH"
My first thoughts on this "Stash" has to do with old Cheech and Chong films and Cypress Hill records..... I have yet to attempt a helicopter but i realy fancy a Mil 24 Hind
or a Kamov KA52

Russian helicopters look great don't they? They all mean business!
For some reason I can't see your pics though? It just says 'Only Admin can view images' which is strange.

Re: The "STASH"
Well the links work as I can see them, unfortunately no one else can. I'll have to check the settings and get back to you all.
Problem fixed. Vald I had to disable some of your links while fixing the problem but you can re paste them now, sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: The "STASH"
Can't believe you still have the MB339 Matt, that must be vintage by now.
When I came back into the hobby nearly 5 years ago, I vowed never to have a stash again, or at least not the kind of stash that I used to have. But with all the will in the World it was never going to be realistic.
Currently
Hasegawa 1/48 RF-4E 'Luftwaffe'
Hasegawa 1/48 A-7E, hopefully to be converted into a TA-7C
Hasegawa 1/48 F-16D 'Advanced' with Aires Cockpit/Exhaust/Wheel bays
Italeri 1/48 AB205
Kopro 1/48 SU-22M3 with CE external detail set
On the verge of buying
Kinetic 1/48 Mirage 2000-5
All with the exception of the SU22 will be finished in Hellenic marks

Re: The "STASH"
Ah yes, the stash... I've curtailed my buying considerably this year having let things get out of hand a tad over the previous four years. I would guess that mine totals over 250 kits now; I did have a spreadsheet to keep a record, but I let it slip a little and have lost track, should probably update it!
It may sound excessive, and probably is (though not compared to many I've seen on t'interweb!) but I love my stash, and love having it around me, rather than tucked away in the loft out of sight- I have around 50% or so surrounding my workbench! Sure I have some pics knocking about somewhere so will get one up if I find it...
