I missed this post sorry jonnyboy.
As James says these are nice builds, the SA-2 is my favourite.
What are you building at present?

Nice looking builds there JB, the SA-2 would look good as part of a diorama...

Funny you should say that, When I finish the new Airfix P51 kit which I am doing as a P51K of 611(West Lancashire) Squadron Royal Auxilliary Air force 1945 RAF Hunsdon I aim to do just that. I have a ZU-23-2 AA ( http://www.aviapress.com/viewonekit.htm?GRN-72612 )which I hope to use as wellscotthldr wrote:Nice looking builds there JB, the SA-2 would look good as part of a diorama...

Thanks for a the comments guys.Craig wrote:Nice work, the Guideline especially!
The kit was a pig to put together I had to use steam to get the main rocket body together as each half were bent like a Banana with one curving in and the other outwards, I used CA glue to close it up but doing just a few millimetres at a time giving each section a blast of kicker to speed it up, The detail on the launcher was very soft even disappearing altogether in places. Time for a more detailed kit please maybe Trumpeter might scale down their 1/35 . I do have the old Airfix SA-2 in the stack but I wont be making it, Have you seen what these go for on E Bay if and when they come up?
